The first year anniversary has come and gone...
I survived the first year anniversary of Tina's passing. The weekend was rather quiet. We had people over on Friday night to "celebrate" her birthday. We ate Imo's pizza and smoked wieners. Good times.

Almost a year...
My wife Tina died on February 8, 2008 from metastic breast cancer. She was diagnosed in August 2007. It all happened so fast. At the end, she died at the hospital with the kids and me at her side.
So..it's almost a year later. Wow. WTF happened? Stunned grief became aching mourning. I will add more soon.

Shirtless Runner
Andy and I saw a middle aged guy running this morning on New Ballwin Road. He had no shirt on. I turned towards Andy and passed along some sage advice:
"Son, after you turn 25 years-old, don't go shirtless unless you are within 100 feet of a pool, beach or lake. It just ain't right!"

Day 1--It begins
My first attempt at blogging. So much to say, so little time. So so typing skills. But, I have spell-check. My daughter started a summer job in her uncle's office. She was tasked with creating labels on a, horror among horrors, typewriter! She whined about the use of correct-type. Making mistakes. Sheesh! I remembered banging out 20-page term papers in grad school on an IBM Selectric with Correct-type ribbon. It would take me all night to type that paper.
